10:30 am - 11:45 am: Photo with the Governor, Honoring of Asian American Heros, Lobbying the Georgia Capitol
AFTERNOON SESSION LOCATION: The Floyd Room at The James H. "Sloppy" Floyd Building (the Twin Towers), 2 Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive, Atlanta, GA 30334
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Luncheon with Newly Elected Female Legislators
The Seventh Annual Asian American Legislative Summit and Lobby Day is designed to be a relationship-building opportunity among Asian American leaders, Georgia elected officials and other policy makers. Our event draws the largest number of Asian American business and community leaders to the Georgia Capitol each year, typically bringing together 300 guests.
This year's breakfast will start with coffee and refreshments as well as a formal program at the Floyd Room, at the James H. "Sloppy" Floyd Building, from 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM, followed by a tour of the Capitol and a chance to lobby elected officials. Guests will take a photograph with Governor Nathan Deal and enjoy a lunch back at the Floyd Building from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm with a Keynote Speaker. We welcome guests to join us for the whole program, but participants may join us for the breakfast program or for the Lunch.
