The AAPI Legislative Reception co-sponsored by GAPABA, KABA-GA and SABA-GA is a tremendous opportunity to meet our AAPI elected and appointed officials! In addition to our eleven trailblazing AAPI Legislative Caucus members, the reception will also feature:

Mayor John Park of the City of Brookhaven, the first AAPI Mayor elected in the State of Georgia.
District Attorney and Judge-Appointee Samir Patel, Cherokee Judicial Circuit, the first South Asian District Attorney in Georgia, and recently appointed to the Superior Court, Cherokee Judicial Circuit. Upon being sworn in, he will become the first Georgia Superior Court Judge of South Asian descent.
Hon. Bryan Ramos, Chief Judge of the City of Brookhaven, the first Filipino American man to serve as Judge in Georgia, and the first minority Judge to serve in the City of Brookhaven.
